Was this not originally planned as a massive f*ck you to the rich neighbours because they blocked his plans to build a theme park or film studio on the same piece of land?

I haven't a clue if that was the case,however Mr.Lucas has many choices what to do with his money but picked the most beautiful unselfish generous act to become beautiful homes for the hard working class.BTW I don't live there. lol live in New Jersey where property tax sucks😕
