Page 1 of ATENTION ALL FILM MAKERS I NEED HELP!

I need someone to help me i have made a film trailer for an action film as part of my college project and i was wondering if someone could help me as i need some good music to go with it and i like something upbeat and cool and kinda similar to the "Smallville" tv theme to go with it can anyone suggest any similar tunes that they may have hear that would go nicely with a 1 min action film trailer (GOD WHERE DO ALL THESE FILMAKERS GET THESE GOOD SONGS FROM????????)

howabout "Good Souls" by Starsailor from their album "Love is here"..

its fairly new...and of a similar vein...but British...

or to save any expensive copyright problems, how about getting some musical mates to do something themselves (and buy them a pint for it)

hmmm..if i remember my time at University , i think i`m right in saying that copyright laws regarding education are different to that in the commercial sector...

Just listening to LOADS of music until you find the track that fits, there`s not short cuts to it. If the piece is only going to be shown once, then pick something that is familiar. If it`s shown numerious time, pick something that`ll grow on you, like the Smallville theme.

If your allowed you could use a track of an action film soundtrack. That could work well.

You`re all missin the point here. G Roberts, what is the content of the trailer, set the scene for us mate. I would personally go with something like the theme from Total Recall or The Terminator, both by the excellent Brad Fiedel, if I`m not mistaken.

How am i "missing the point"?... He asked for something similar to the Smallville theme..and i gave him a reference...

He specifically asked for something upbeat?..and as the the themes for Terminator and Total recall are at the oposite end of the spectrum.. i think it`s you who are missing the point....

As for suitable music, how about `Push` by Moist? I think it`s a superb track. Let me know if you want me to email you an MP3...
