in a few months, unless you`re a business that lists everything as buy it now, you`re going to be worth less than navel fluff to them. Oh, and if you`re a seller, you can`t give a buyer a negative feedback score anymore. Buyers are above reproach, it seems.

You can`t leave neg feedback to scam buyers and you can`t ask for cash on collection: you *have* to accept Paypal for collection even though if they pay by Paypal, collect the item, and then lie and claim they never got it, Paypal *will* find in their favour.

So don`t sell anything too heavy to post and make sure you send things Special Delivery if they`re worth more than £36!

For DVDs, CDs, books, games, etc, consider Amazon Marketplace first.

I`m in a similar situation - coming back to selling. Sounds like eBay ain`t what it used to be - any tips on good place to sell now?

Oh and I had a mail today saying their fees are changing which I read as "going up".
It seems that ebay doesn`t want us small fry anymore and is doing its utmost to pee us off enough that we stop using it.

Yes, it has changed. the advertising costs are less, but the commission on the final value has increased and it`s going to be even dearer shortly like 15% commission.

Also, you cannot leave negative feedbacks to buyers anymore.

The listings look different and there are more adverts than ever, so expect competition.

Of course, you can make a fortune. Or not...

Just think about what happens to a boomerang when thrown.

Allegedly.... that`s the plan: they only want shops selling new stuff under the "trusted" eBay banner with the auction aspect phased out.
