Page 1 of THE CUBE - - anyone else feel suicidal after watching this *SPOILER*

I have watched all sorts of films in my time of which a lot have been good and some have been bad -- - but this film. I was about half an hour in when I thought please get better soon or Im leaving.At the hour mark I began to get depressed but couldnt leave as I was convinced that something would happen. OH MY GOD.NOTHING HAPPEND.Th eonly decent part of the film was when the guy got cut up by the funky trap, which I hasten to add was at the start and made u think this may turn out ok.

Its one of the few times I wanted to physically hurt something because of a film and I still may.

Another thing that makes it worse is that I actually worked out the numbers were coordinates before that feeble excuse for a mathematical woman started her revelation.

I cant blame the actors, just the single person who wrote the film, or the person who had a complete and utter misconception of waht the author was trying to portray.

Must leave now and hurt something as Im getting irate again.

Might have to threaten the producers with court action to cover the costs of my counselling.

Shame you didn`t enjoy it, I thought it was a great film! It was let down by the ending but would have been worse if they had shown what was actually outside. Each to their own I suppose. You`ll be pleased to hear that a sequel is on the way!

Yeah i loved this film. Bit grim, but i loved the whole twist and turn nature.

I even liked the ending. Can`t wait for the next one.

I`m so pleased noone gave ANYTHING away of the film in this thread....have just ordered the damn thing. (this comment should be delivered with a degree of sarcasm).

I thought it was a good piece of filmmaking, considering it cost a miniscule amount to make.

ah well..just cancelled the order..thanks for the plot lines guys..try and use the word `spoiler` or something helpful next time you want to give the game away.

Kid Brunch, I recommend you read the forum rules, particularly the bit about SPOILERS. Intentionally spoiling films for people is not very bright and may result in your account being disabled. :p

Yeah This film was very different to anything i have ever seen before. In that sense i guess it is good. It was very intriguing at points but was let down by plot holes and a stupid ending. Unconventional is good but let this be a lesson. Dont try to be too unconventional. I was left very confused by the ending.

I loved it when i first saw it about 2 years ago on VCD in Malaysia - love the dark atmospehere..... think what they could have done with a bigger budget - give me cube and stick MI2 where the sun dont shine....

But as always.... just an opinion....

I also enjoyed this film and thought it was done in a very clever way.Does anyone know if it is true that the whole film was shot in one room and the director just changed the coloured light bulbs to depict the different scenes?
