Did anyone else see her stop mid-race to have a pee? :/

In all seriousness though, well done to the girl! Especially after everything that happened in Athens :)

I missed that point, and I don`t think it was a pee :D Seemed to work out well for her though, good to watch her running like that.

I really didn`t understand what was going on...I was watching it live and while she had stopped, their was a helicopter view being shown on TV. The commentator then speaks about about how she had stopped with the possibility of slight cramp.
So, the view then gets back onto the road and shes running again. A few moments later, a slow-mo instant replay of her stopping, squatting down with her right hand behind her right thigh. It looked to me as if she was just holding the back of her leg :/ Another 20 or so minutes into the race, and the commentator again speaks up about her stopping and said she had to relieve herself. I was like, WTF?


Of course, none of this was shown in the re-run later this evening.

It`s official, just on BBC news. She even apologised to the British Nation for having to stop & relieve herself in public. No doubt more sanitary conditions over here than in Athens :¦ . Good luck to her.

in that case should she ot be fined for urinating in a public place? or is it one rule for celebs and another `average joe p***head` after a night out ;) :p :D

I didn`t see it, but I imagine it was a bit better than the alternative - going as she ran along.

It was bad enough that Paula Radquit didn`t run the marathon wearing sackcloth and ashes, but I felt she was urinating all over the Great British Public when she had the audacity to stop and empty her treacherous bladder. To the tower with her!
