This has now been activated on Steam, I pre-purchased a deal to get Civ 5 free, and I have to say I`m really impressed.  It`s still turn based but much faster pace and the graphics style they`ve used is superb.

Sadly on my first two missions I lost a marine on each one plus one of my guys panicked before redeeming himself.  Going to have a lot of fun with this one...

I was very tempted to pre-order when they threw in Civ5 free, but I`m still working my way through Torchlight, haven`t even started on LA Noire, and barely touched F1 2013, so I`ve decided I`m going to wait till I`ve got through those and watch for it on sale.

Glad to hear its fun tho, I really loved the original even if I never finished it.

So, just started playing this last night (thank you Steam Bioshock Infinite pre-order!) and quite enjoying it.

It does seem an awful lot simpler than the originals, not necessarily a bad thing, going to give it a longer go before I judge that too harshly.

I`m sorry to hear about the two marines you lost Si; it`s never easy.

it`s free on Playstation PLus this month, so downloading now. Loved the first 2 games which I played on PSOne, and Laser Squad on my Amstrad :) Hopefuly I`ll get time to play it!
