im intending to get one of these on import and was looking at liksang who are normally pretty good. but can anyone suggest other good e-tailers to get hold of the US version?

Edit, looks like the price has gone up but you get a free 20$ voucher for Lik-sang so it is not so bad.

The problem that you are going to find is places that actually have them in stock.

My pre-order with Lik-Sang was made in early May, which was the day they started taking pre-orders. And they`ve pretty much admitted they`re not going to be able to cover them all. So they`re going out on a first come/first served basis.

Nintendo are meant to have provided 1 million units for the US launch and a million for the Japanese launch. However there have been around 2 million Japanese pre-orders.

Does anybody know whether Lik-Sang put the price on the package as I wouldn`t want to be stung by customs.

When I ordered my GBA SP way back when, I had charges on top that had to be paid on delivery.

I suspect the same will true this time around.

My DS arrived this morning from Lik-Sang. I`m currently living in the South of France and with UPS delivery and 2 games cost me just under £160. The import charges came to 50 Euros (about £37).

Excellent machine.
