Your spot on i thought the first game was cool, played it from start to finish on my ps2 and loved it.

I bought an X-Box and a copy of the sequel a couple of months ago, but i`m not over keen on the new game. I think its cos its very much the same as the first game BUT you can play it on X-Box live which does`nt interest me. Dont get me wrong i do like the game but its not that different from the first, it just feels a bit stale. Maybe the 3rd game out at christmas will be better.

Cant wait for Doom 3 it looks great! But the best game of the year will be GTA3: San Andreas maybe EVEN the best videogame ever made??

I agree with mini-me, I really enjoyed the first one but I`m not enjoying the second as much (both on PC). Its hard to put my finger as to why not, maybe its a case of seen it all before, but it doesn`t seem like its improved on the first that much.

Don`t get me wrong its a very good game, but it hasn`t really lived up to my expectations as I loved the first so much :(

I`m praying my PC will be able to handle this.

What`s the minimum specs for Doom3?

I`m also hoping that the AMD 2600XP & Radeo9800 Pro can handle it...as well as Half-Life2 when it eventually appears!

... which will probably be sufficient in lowest resolution and no detail whatsoever. I won`t be buying it anyway.... the trailer alone scared the s*** out of me!

Oh and on the subject of Pandora Tomorrow, I`d agree with the above. It`s not very different to the first game, although it did seem to run a bit smoother on my PC.
