Page 1 of PS2 scart lead

Come on chaps its a simple question.
if you buy the upgrade scart lead from sony ( not the cheap one provided)
does your TV auto change channel to the AV when you power up your PS2.
In the same way as your DVD player and Sky box etc etc.

Should do anyway. Some TV`s only accept power up thru RGB socket & not Euroscart. Try putting your PS2 in your DVD socket & see if thay works - it should do.

You need the switching signal on SCART pin 8 - that`s why it won`t work with the phono adapter.

I presume the Sony scarts people use as an upgrade have pin 8 an my problem is solved??
