Yes, It`s a Vampire flick, but unlike any I`ve ever seen..

And no.. No Left leg in either.... :D

It really is a great film.. brilliant build up followed by some marvellously shocking sequences.. and the end.. well.. I grinned from ear to ear.. awesome finish.

It`s up there with Near Dark definitely.. Although it`s a very different take..

And it wipes the floor with the god awful 30 days of shi**e!

Oh, and I picked up a few words of Swedish along the way too!

They`re going nuts over this in the latest Empire mag. Have to say it does look fantastic. I`ll try and get to see it at our flicks if I can, otherwise it`s a DVD purchase.

Must watch either way.

I thought it was good, but very bizarre. Think I need to watch it again to be honest, but I agree, the ending is very good.

The shame is again this is a film I would like to watch in the cinema but the odds on it getting a showing anywhere where I can watch it are minimal so will have to get it from the usual sources. :(

The Blu-ray looks pretty good, but I`m holding out for the reissued version with the cinematic subtitle instead of the dumbed-down ones on the current disc. At least the distributor has reacted positively to customer criticism though, even if they aren`t doing a replacement program. I`ll have to leave it a while now as well so I can be sure of getting the new disc. Pity, as I wanted to see the film and it just won`t be shown near me.
