Page 1 of no more dvds on pcworld website

You cant even get them by typing `dvd` in the search box anymore. I doubt any orders made this morning are going to be successful.

well, managed to get a Shrek email which looked positive before I tried again half an hour later and saw thesame as you. We`ll see. They may well be stocking up again :-)...in which case.....on your marks.....

I`ve had e-mails for all five that I ordered at 10am this morning - Bridget Jones, Mummy Returns, Rush Hour 2, Shrek and Castaway

I ordered the mummy yesterday. Got my confirmation then a few hours later got an email to say that the dvd was not in stock!

How can they possibly restock? They`d be losing money by restocking!!

Anyway...i got the same email as Clayts did...so hopefully we`ll get our dvds. I ordered 4 Rush hour 2`s just in case ;o)

By the way Clayts...thnx for the post on the DX3700....I got one...and it works a charm xcept the battery!

I got the first confirmation email saying that they`d taken my order but its pretty clever that it manages to state that orders will only be fulfilled if an item is in stock:

"Please note that all orders are subject to stock availability. We will
email you again when your order is confirmed."

Has anyone had a second mail to tell them that they`re actually getting they`re goods or is this some crafty way to get peoples details without actually intending to send out any goods. I guess we`ll just have to wait and see.....

Yip had American Pie, and Enemy At The Gates from them no problem.

I`m only hoping that the orders I made this morning will be ok, mind can`t see why not, if it was out of stock it would come up as being out of stock and you wouldn`t even be able to order any !!

Especially as the ones I ordered this morning were coming up as being out of stock yesterday.

I`m sure they were just staggering the availability so that more people had a chance of buying them, instead of just ordering 4 or 5 copies of each like some greedy peeps.....

Just what are you planning to do with those Mebz - offer them to other DVD Reviewer regulars who missed out OR sell them on Ebay for a profit? ;)
