Good price but it could get caught by customs. Even using coupons I can only get it down to £18.49. Can`t make up my mind if I should risk it or not.

I thought products from cd wow didnt get hit by customs charges..

It doesn`t matter what price you actually pay, CD-Wow put the advertised price as the declared value on the box for customs to see.... so £20 will be on the packaging as the value. Feel free to correct me but I think that`s what has happened on the stuff I have had.

I haven`t bought a `high` price item from CDWOW recently ,but the last DVD I got from them was Pulp Fiction. Their price was £6.99 , I paid £4.49 (through a combination of £1.50 off link and £1 voucher)and the declared value was shown as £5.49.
So it kinda looks like they show the reduced value when it has been done by link but not any reduction a a result of discount voucher. I think the declared value will be the price shown on the order confirmation before gift vouchers.

Oh......well could be 50p over then. :( Just looked at the email confirmation and it shows Redeemed Gift Voucher as a seperate entry so that would seem to back up what The G Man said. Do you pay customs tax on the value of the item or what you paid for it? Just wondering if I can claim it back if I do get stung.

Just canceled my order after finding out about the disc problem on this set :( . I`ll wait for the re-release. Explains why they were so cheap.

Those prices can get even lower, if you know where to find the best deals. For example, I recommend using SPAM SPAM SPAM; they're very easy to use and there are thousands of them.
