As often occurs with computer tweaks...just hours after my previous post the Frech player is gradually performing better...now half of the video and all of the audio are perfect. Im off to nvidia to polish the driver.
In passing also tried ANYDVD...is the free version for puppies? It gets great reviews but wont show didly with my DVD from region 1?

Hi admars,
Yes, VLC player seems to have installed correctly thanks...only issue now is the audio is fine but the particular DVD Im testing with, only allows video for the first two minutes and then the video freezes? Good quality DVD and resolution of video is great for the first two minutes?

Any thoughts?

NEC ND-2510A REGION HACK

Hi All,

Can I tweak my NEC DVD player to allow all regions or run a programe on my pc which will enable me to choose any DVD region selection when playing DVD`s from various regions. I think I only have one more region option left before I loose the DVD entirely?

I have heard of the Firmware hack but I not keen to loose the DVD player so if you are offering a Firmare option to run please explain in detail how I install it from A-Z please, Im new to computing.
