Just WOW!!!
Neil Gaiman is very on board with this on Twitter and considers it true to the original.
I'll definitely be watching it but I've never seen or heard anything to do with The Sandman before.
Should I be looking out anything to read or listen to first or just take it as it comes?

loved the comic book way back when but never imagined they would be able to film it, could be remarkable or a train wreck

From episode one I'd say a lot closer to remarkable.
Seems a lot agree from what I'm seeing reported.

Episode three
How have I spent all these years not knowing about this.
Completely on board.

I'm up to about episode 9 I think? Enjoying it, but it's a bit all over the place story wise, a fun ride though.
I knew nothing about the original stories either.
The stand out so far for me is the 'immortal guy' story. Nice little stand alone episode with a touch of the Blackadders/Upstart Crow about it.

I've just seen the final episode, and I'm a little irritated that it was self contained and nothing to do with any of the others.
I enjoyed the series, but what a mess.

Loving it but only up to episode Five.
I thought that the penultimate episode was the end of the series and the actual last one was a kind of unannounced bonus.
