I thought it was ok, obviously an origin story which for me tried too hard to be clever and break through, hoping the 2nd episode will start proper with a story arc

I'll agree that in hindsight it was perhaps a bit rushed setting up this is how and these are the ground rules but to be fair to them they kind of said that with the fourth wall break right at the beginning.

As you say let's settle back and wait for ep 2.

I really enjoyed it, slight spoilers for me as I'm massively behind on MCU films (watched the 2nd Captain America film the other day), but nice and funny with good action, hope they keep that up, and didn't blow the budget on first episode!

Uhmm I really know im not at my best now, found the 1st episode rushed and trying too hard to be hip, trendy and too clever for its own good but the 2nd issue, Yawn :( seriously she got fired from one job and hired for another?? really?? seriously disappointing

I quite enjoyed it, sort of reminds me of Ally McBeal, could be good if it goes down that path.

Know nothing about Ally McBeal but enjoyed the ep.
I think they're overdoing it with breaking the fourth wall.
If they don't wind it back it will lose something that enhances the show.

ep 3, the bit where they showed internet reaction was amusing, and the mid credits bit, but apart from that meh :(maybe it needs the extra 10 15mins so the story can get going rather than be over before it's started? or if it's a comedy drama, maybe it needs to be funnier?

it was quite popular late 90s, US drama shown in the mid week 22:00 slot on ch4, it was a quirky legal comedy drama
