can see now why they wanted us to watch first 3 in one go, rather than first two :)

Four is still up to standard though I'd happily watch Stellan Skarsgård read the phone book.

I overheard a conversation the other day, someone said they got a bit bored, someone else replied, "you need to watch episode 3, it's a drama" :)

So I guess what some of us are enjoying about it, is what some ppl don't like.

The slow build up, and interesting reveal of "the day job" :)

My guess is when Forest Whittaker turns up it's all going to kick off and make everyone happy:) But you know, I'm in no rush for that to happen :)

As a friend said, it's Skandi noire in Star Wars :)

So far, dull as dishwater. Humourless performances without an iota of mirth and an eminently unlikable lead character. It's tricky to hope for an arc of development when we know, if anything, he becomes more jaded before the start of Rogue One.

If you can manage to disassociate it from 'Star Wars' and everything that implies, just treat it like a drama.
For me it stands very well on its own merit.

I can argue with some of the intricacies of the plot. Very attention to detail in parts right next to 'why the f*** would they do that' moments but overall.
Still enjoying it.

I am enjoying it, although I thought the latest episode would be where "the thing" happens but it's making us wait another one.

Also quite like the chance to see goings on in the Imperial Forces which isn't the usual top-of-the-tree squabbling or foot soldiers being cannon fodder.

Yes, the desire to climb the career ladder by officers is interesting, one who wanted a new title, despite it not giving more money, and the lady officer who needs a white board and lots of red string :)

Did anyone else think Jack Smethurst was looking very good in episode three.

Considering he's not long died
