Another famous double act finished. RIP Bobby.
On a personal note, we saw them in theater in Blackpool in the 80's, full of belly laugh jokes, and wife and I later saw him and Tommy in a pub having as couple of pints just a street back from the promenade, he heard my Oz accent, and shouted "G'day mate", and I replied that we had been at their show and was brilliantly funny that night, and got that famous wink from Bobby and thumbs up. Definitely larger than life characters. They both seemed as happy and comical off stage as on.
