Couldn't agree more
30% longer than it needed to be.
Almost gave up, in fact paused it to go and get drink and food.

Ending a bit of an Omen I thought.

Annoyingly one of BBC's own twitter accounts spoilt the ending for me, but still enjoyed it.

Love the actor who plays the Master, his performance is just so manic.

Sooo loved this, absolutely terrific, completely agree about the Master, almost as good as Sims and both would have made terrific Doctors!! Now this episode, as usual with Chibnall this just showed what we missed with Jodies Doctor who deserved so much more and this was an inkling as to how great she could, and should have been, she is one of the best actors to take the role, the 90 minute episode was a game changer for me, really gave the characters (all of them) room to grow and I for one would rather have 6 mini movies of this length in a season going forward, the Doctor and Yaz though surprisingly seemed like almost an afterthought given the build up they had and I adored the numerous characters brought back although again I was very surprised at no SPOILER:

I think he's probably too old and an insurance risk, he's 88 after all! And he's been in episodes not that long ago (sitting down I think?) where as it was nice some of the latter less popular Doctors got a chance to be in it.

Doctor Who to get the Disney treatment - with Disney budgets

https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/2022/doctor-who-bbc-and-disney-branded-television

From The Telegraph's twitter feed:

Quote:
Doctor Who is set to be regenerated by Disney, as the US corporation is allowed to give the classic BBC series a Hollywood makeover

The series which began in 1963 has grown a cult following despite limited budgets, with the Timelord’s adversaries often mocked for their less-than-threatening appearance, but Disney is now poised to give the show blockbuster backing

The American corporation will have a say in creative decisions for Doctor Who, under the terms of a co-production deal made with the BBC over its long-running sci-fi series

May finally be worth watching...
