Well I really enjoyed that, great to see some old villains, some good ideas, love the mans best friend although am I the only one who thinks SPOILER:
The master and missy are back?

I knew full well that this season was going to be one story arc, but I didn’t realise that it would go proper old school with it. I think we’re going to get five weeks of cliffhangers before there is any narrative satisfaction. I hope the answers we get are worthy of the questions being asked.

Not convinced.
A bit of a mess for me

John Bishop landed with a bit of a dull thud as well.

Thing is, I’ve been rewatching the whole thing from the Eccleston series on iPlayer. Up to Matt Smith‘s second series now, and good or bad, inspired or cheesy, I enjoy these episodes a whole lot more than the Whittaker series. I feel I have to work at watching this show now.

It‘s not bad, it’s just never triumphant..

I feel I should watch them as I missed a whole load of the re-launch. probably only got into watching every episode when it was Capaldi.

If only they'd spent that money on a lot more coffee while they sat and considered plot, script and casting.
I'm sorry because I quite like John Bishop as a bloke and a stand up but he's got all the acting ability of a bowl of blind scouse.

I'll watch all the episodes because apart from anything else, Jodie Whittaker.

I think he's just very very miscast. :) I also think the main problem with Dr Who is it's a kids show first these days.
