Not even written yet, but BBC are making one:

Simon Allen (“Strike Back,” “The Musketeers”) is penning the series which BBC Studios is setting up as a potential franchise with further potential seasons.
No broadcasters are currently attached, but as this is a major international co-production that shouldn’t prove hard.

RE: The Watch - Discworld series
About time. There have been efforts in the past (Hogfather, Going Postal, Colour of Magic), but they were funded by Sky and were frankly underwhelming. By 'The Watch' I assume they mean Sam Vimes, Nobby, Carrot, Sybil et al, which is probably the best character group they could have gone for, as they cover the entirety of the disc in their escapades. Be interesting to see who they cast as Vimes, as long as it isn't bloody Glenister again.

Nobby'll have to be CG, probably played by Andy Serkis...

Don't know about on screen but John Wood as Vimes worked really well on the radio 4 adaptions.
Edit: That's depressing and shows how much I know. Poor chap died back in 2011.
There's actually a Facebook page pushing for Hugh Laurie to get the part. Not sure about that myself.

Assume it will be set in the first season around Ankh-Morpork to keep costs down.
Going by previous productions like Color of magic, it should be good. I Hope.

If they're introducing Sam, then they'll have to adapt Guards, Guards!!, which is memory serves, has got a bloody great dragon in it (and if they want to keep continuity, they'll have to get Kate Robbins to provide the voice)

A punk rock comedy thriller inspired by Terry Pratchett's Discworld. That is not encouraging me in the least but I'll give episode one a spin.
