Quote:
The 83-year-old actor has returned to complete the unfinished story Shada, filmed in Cambridge, 38 years after it was abandoned.

The parts not filmed in 1979 will be completed with animation and Baker's voice, but he has also filmed a scene.

There was a rather rare VHS video produced by the BBC on the SHADA episodes, which I still own a VHS to VHS copy of, as I sold mine on Ebay for a crazy price

It showed the story minus the unfinished bits, which had a voice narrative to fill in these parts.

The story itself is not that brilliant with Tom Baker and assistant running around Cambridge a lot. I would rather see the fsr better 'Robots of Death' anyday, one of Tom Bakers finest.

Shada is just famous for being unfinished due to BBC production worker strikes at the time, as worker strikes in the UK were massive in the 70's, sorted out by Thatcher milk snatcher.

Just noticed the headline the other day and assumed he was going to be part of the Xmas transition episode to the new Doctor.
