For my money one of the most interesting/challenging sci-fi writers.
Anything based on his work is a definite 'do not miss'

Quote:
Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams is a sci-fi anthology series of ten epic, ambitious and moving standalone episodes, each set in a different and unique world – some which lie in the far reaches of the universe and time and others which are much, much closer to home. While the stories may be worlds apart, central to each is the poignant and warm exploration of the importance and significance of humanity.

Each episode is inspired by one of Philip K. Dick’s renowned shorts stories and has been adapted by an exciting list of leading British and American writers and directors. The series also features an all-star roster of cast who head up this thrilling, audacious and emotional journey into the far reaches of imagination.

sounds like a rip off of Black Mirror now they've lost that to Netflix;)

I can't wait for this series. I was devastated when he died, before Blade runner had been released. I've read almost everything he ever wrote, including his early pulp fiction from the 50s.

My favourite author. Period.

Still alive and kicking. You can't get rid of me that easily!

Well watched the first standalone episode last night 'The hood'

Not that good a story between mind readers and normals, plus acting was rather dismal by all The background scenery rather cheap budget, likely was a fish market done up (or down) , and story left as a cliffhanger, unresolved, left for you to guess the end. Hate that.

Disapointing start to the series.Hope the story next week is better.

I enjoyed it, really liked it being ambiguous and thought the actors were good, saw the ending coming  but looking forward to the next episode

'The impossible planet', a better storyline this time, acting better, but background scenery was rather budget, and mostly in the dark to hide it.

One grimacing rough bit...
SPOILER:
The young guy kissing the 300+ year old woman, Yuk! that's some Cougar, he he.

Also once again the end was left to us to figure it out, though it looked like....
SPOILER:
they all died, and the robot ran out of powet eventually.
