No Such Thing as the News

Obviously as a result of the successful podcast
No Such Thing as a Fish

Haven't watched it yet but just opening it up it looks like the Beeb's cost cutting is already in place.
Production seems like one man and his iPhone level.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.

Just wish with all this cost cutting they could just put in some adverts and remove the TV licence for good.

We had this debate at work recently. Love it or hate it, the way the BBC is funded means it's independant and impartial. Once you open up their funding to companies with an agenda, you lose that impartiality. look at Sky news.

A more recent example is the F1 coverage. There is no comparison between the BBC and C4, despite having the same commentary team.

Thanks Snaps, I heard them mention this on the podcast but wasn't sure when it was out.
