New from Showtime, starts on January 17th but the first episode was released early. Currently no UK broadcaster has acquired it, but apparently many parties were interested.
Quote:
U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti) goes after hedge fund king, Bobby "Axe" Axelrod (Damian Lewis) in a battle between two powerful New York figures.
Paul Giamatti and Maggie Siff stole the show, but I felt that Damian Lewis was miscast. I liked it enough to continue watching, though.
...and as if by magic at the same timeĀ Allen Stanford surfaces with an in depth interview from the prison where he's serving 107 years.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary
Renewed for a second season.
Also, Sky Atlantic have signed a deal with Showtime (similar to their deal with HBO) to show all of their current and future TV shows (including Twin Peaks). No air date yet, though.
I liked the second episode more than the first, but I'm still not sold on Damien Lewis.
Just finished season 1, really enjoyed it. Took a few episodes to grow on me, but I think that was mainly because of not being sure if Damien Lewis was a good or a bad guy.
Paul Giamatti is just great, he's the real pull of the show for me, and the supporting cast around him.
I do like Maggie Siff but the whole pretence for her character just seems shoehorned in to give conflict between Chuck and Bobby, which is a shame.
SPOILER:
Great final scene between the two of them!

Season 2 was very good, renewed for a third season.
Part of me hopes they wrap it up in the next one and don't string it out further than it can go.
