Just watched episode 9, and found it very confusing as.....

She was jumping through memories at this point because she had been here before on various loops. Her outfit's change during these scenes too. A sort of a de javu bug/glitch.

Which is explained in the final episode, centred around a twist I never saw coming, with the fate of Dolores being something about this world I always hated, but that was supposed to be the point.

Not sure how that ending is going to sit with a lot of people, but there's always the next few seasons to come to a full conclusion.

Writer`s Release

Magnificent finale! I really loved the resolution to the maze. Unlike the mysteries in Lost, it wasn't drawn out and the answer actually made a lot of sense.

Btw, Ford's plan was revealed way back in episode 6:



"they come back because of the subtleties, the details..." :D

I will certainly be back. In 2018 when it returns :'(

IN MADNESS YOU DWELL

Saw the ending and guessed some of it right and some wrong. But what we do kbow is that robots can kill humans as their programmes can overwrite the prime directives.

A moral for us in the real life world not to create thinking AI, but they will do it some day, most likely by the military, and will just be another worry to add to the dangers of this world.

I knew that Ford had decided to massacre the Board once he was told to retire, CORRECT, but I though the 'prostitute and bank job' robots would go up to the surface and be made to kill the board as programmed by Ford.... WRONG!

It was Delores and the Ghost squad that were coming in for the kill of the board, again programmed by Ford.

I expect the Ford we saw getting a bullet through the head is yet just another robot.

The prostitute made it onto the train to escape and I expected her to self destruct on the way out....WRONG, she instead got ff the train to find her daughter.

PS...Next season will introduce Samurai world according to internet info. We saw Samurai gong through testing in this episode.

This park seems to be one real dangerous place.

I enjoyed the finale, it had some interesting conclusions whilst still leaving various questions unanswered.

Enjoy this whilst you wait for season 2...

My conclusion is that Westworld is no where as good as Game of Thrones.

Reason being is that Westworld is rather limited in what it can do to keep the audience rivited, as its shock of who and who is not a robot, and what a robot does when it goes on the rampage either in controlled or uncontrolled mode, ect, makes it a limited expansion of stories that can be achieved. Unless the story writers buck up for next season.

Game Of Throness has far more scope when it comes to stories, shock, amazment and just pure cinematic experiences.

I enjoyed Westworld, but I agree with you, it's not as good as GoT. It has a much smaller world, way less characters and story archs going on, and is just not as good.

But also probably unfair to compare them!
