i thought at the beginning it looked like it was slit, but i don't think it was, i thought it just looked like it from the blood round his mouth dripping, but now I think about it, he stabbed, then drunk, so maybe he had his throat slit, before being fed upon, i'll have to watch again now :)

Erm, wtf....
Gotta be honest, it was like a euphemism-laden panto where I was laughing a bit and thinking where is this going, what's the twist... and then it kind of finished and he had a mate.
As with other episodes, maybe something will be revealed on a second watch but the whole 'talk to camera' thing etc., I'm not sure I'm in a hurry tbh.

I suspect that they expect some sort of 'backlash', but just wanted to do something different. They even self-reference Commedia dell arte which was the style they were going for and I think that actually mentioning it was meant to make people roll their eyes a bit.

There were certainly a few funny bits in it (inc. when he was sitting on the guy and said he was trying to make him come to(o)..) and I'm sure I'd pick up some more double entendres on a second viewing - but usually for me the second viewing is to see just how many clues were there all along - but don't thing that's the 'point' of this one?
There was a time when they broke the fourth wall and they said something like 'Stop Fleabagging' and said she wasn't he was 'Miranda'ing' - ish.
The skipping a page of the script parts made it like a play yet..?...

Second episode was better (although predicted the end).  They could easily (and probably were!...) have been talking about Game of Thrones.
