Page 2 of Still Game :) The return
Got my tickets for the Wednesday night. Can't wait!
Will be interested to see how the hydro is as a venue as it's had really mixed reviews.
Love Navid reminds me of the guy in the shop down the road from me.
David Greer says...
"Will be interested to see how the hydro is as a venue as it's had really mixed reviews. "
As you can imagine, I've had a fair few hires from there already and a common theme is emerging.
Some passenger quotes:
"It's a big stone circle."
"The view is very good, regardless of your seating position."
"Effin lift only goes to the third floor then you need to walk the rest... but it's no' too bad" (loved that one lol)
"Probably OK for normal stuff like stage shows n that but it's EFFIN BRILLIANT as a music venue"
"Every time they played a drum or low note ma belly shook" (<~~ mate's 15y/o daughter at Bruno Mars!)
"It's very good for music and we've needed it for a long time. You could feel the vibration of the music through your chair, it was excellent" (<~~ very posh couple going back to Newton Mearns)
So the common thing is the view is good and the venue vibrates to the music. Mentioned to one guy who has tickets for Black Sabbath in December, he was almost wetting himself on the back seat thinking about it.
Oh, and sitting outside it the accoustics have been done so well it's almost impossible to tell if anyone is playing or not as the sound is kept inside.

"There`s that word again... is there a problem with the Earth`s gravitational pull in the future?"

yeh, Chewin the Fat is excellent too.
RIP Julie & Maisie
Well saw the show last night and really funny, couple of issues, bloody parking is a nightmare, took wee man and his papa who had to drive back to city centre after dropping us off and missed 1st 15 minutes (only because it started late), bloody mobbed in there, I mean leaving if someone tripped I think there could be a major issue with everyone traipsing down the steps, also the merchandise was very over priced and the scene where they slagged of themselves thru monty python was genius...all in all a cracking night :)
Just a quick heads up, Still Game Live is up on the BBC Iplayer
Well that was brilliant to see Jack and Victor and the gang back like they had never been away....do not miss it guys :)
Dammit, missed it...
Its on the player :), and had record viewing figures for the show so fantastic news and i would assume this series will be far from the last :):):)
That's a lovely bathroom you have, is that a new shower cubicle?
