Page 2 of [VIDEO] Penny Dreadful

The production design on this is amazing, halfway through the first episode I had to remind myself it was a TV show. An excellent first couple of episodes, so I'll be sticking with this for a while.
I only wish I knew who the rest of the characters are because my mind was linking Josh Hartnett, Eva Green and Timothy Dalton to Quartermain, Sawyer and Mina Harper from League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Bloody hell (pun intended) this is magnificent, the subtleties and language used really raises it another level, the acting absolutely top drawer, the characters that we know have been given a new lease on life and I cannot wait for the next episode to see where they take it.......:)

Renewed for a second season :)

How good is this show!   Eva Green is totally amazing in it.

Its a magnificent piece of work, some obvious storylines and some i didnt see coming, the acting just raises it so high it really does, add the top drawer storyline and interesting casting (I mean who would cast rory kinnear as the monster?) and some characters i was really looking forward to seeing develop suddenly get taken out....fab fab fab :)

The first season was only 8 episodes. It was renewed and will return next year with a second season of 10 episodes.

In that case I'll get on with watching the 8 I've got.
