Yes, I think we've both said numerous times we are a few players short a number of times, but we do waffle on so it's no surprise to miss it. 😂

The reason we don't have a CL spot is not enough depth in the squad. With our first choice 11 all fit, we are still short of a top striker, with only 8 or 9 of our first choice fit, we were struggling in later games and it showed.

Elneny has signed a contract extension, I'm happy about that from a squad player pov, he's a good backup if someone is out. Not sure how I feel about him being a first choice though!

Looks very much like Nketiah is signing as well.

I'm prepared to go with Arteta on this one. 
He seemed to do reasonably well when played for full matches at the end of the season just long as he's second choice and we're buying someone else.
Maybe with Balogun coming back off loan to play third choice getting a run out in the cups and early stages of the Europa league.

Getting the easy stuff done early.

Which direction the LWC are going depends on what Levy is prepared to give Conte and whether any other significant club comes in for him as their rebuild will take several seasons.
