Red? it was nearly blood soaked vermillion"

I can see that if the ref was at a bad angle he would miss it was two footed. But the Leeds player that got booked straight after and looked like he wanted to start something so bad, what an idiot!

He was at a good enough angle to pull a yellow out straight away, just a lousy bit of refing for my money though TBF apart from that incident I thought he did all right.

Absolutely amazed Rapinha, for it was he, stayed on the pitch.
Not that getting down the ref's ear was a red but he looked like he was going to clean out the next Arsenal player he came across.

Oh I thought he did pull out a yellow straight away? And VAR was only looking at it for a possible red.

That was him! Thanks.

There was this other Leeds kid who was the absolute opposite, a real genuine peacemaker, maybe Dan James?

I've got a lot of time for Guillem Balague whenever he's on the radio.
Never short of a common sense attitude.

Interesting article, though containing no bombshells, certainly fleshed out the picture of the man.

he needs to address such things as his behaviour on the touchline
Comment was made on one of the pods that it was noticeable that in the Leeds match he was much more controlled so let's see how that lasts.

I think there's a bit of a kickabout due shortly so if you'll excuse me I'm just going to pull out what hair is left and start chewing my nails.

I know they are our second choice right back and centre back, but come on!

No Cedric is not up to it but that was a really soft penalty as for Holding.
Any suggestion the sending off was down to a young team doesn't wash, he's 26 and he was a loose cannon from the whistle.
You could tell by the grin after one tackle with Son he knew what he was doing, a deliberate attempt to wind him up.

I gave up watching after the third goal and just followed it on a live blog, masochism isn't my thing.
Still one point in front but Newcastle away is definitely not going to be a breeze and you'd have to say the other lot are favourites to get two wins from Burnley and Norwich.
Everton may still need a win on the last match to stay up as well.

Just two more games now we absolutely have to win, going to be hard to enjoy those!

Monday I will miss the first half probably without even a phone signal. Depends what I find when I get signal back whether I watch the second half.
I need to retain some trace of sanity.

It's classic Arsenal though, why make it easy for ourselves?
