Best not mention that eh?
We don't have to pay it, at least directly.
Unless there's something unforeseen lurking round the corner I'd say legendary status is guaranteed.

Laca-Eddie-daisical.

Distinctly average performance.
Right result.
Unhappy Moyes.
and Utd lose heavily at home.

Gooner sleep well tonight.

We are going to have to be a lot better to win the next two games...

...but this is still a decent start!

Terrible stat when you think about it but we've already won 25% as many away matches as we did all last season.

If we get 6 points out of the next 12 I wont be disappointed.
Leicester in the Crappybow cup I'm not really fussed about but it would be a good match to shake that bad performance off and give some yoof a run out.

Maybe he'll start Saliba.

The gap between us was obvious and show how much we've got to make up.

A game of ifs and could've beens.

Mane should've been off in the first 5 mins after going through the back of Bellerin on one wing, nothing given and then a forearm smash on Tierney on the other which got him a yellow and could/should have been a red.

They didn't make as much of their chances as they should have but then Lacazette also missed a couple he should arguably be putting away.

Could've been a pen for handball. Yes I know but if the ones in the Tottenham and Man Utd matches were then I don't see much difference.

In the end I don't think they could have had too many complaints if we'd got an equalizer in the last 10 mins, though they would have.

I don't think the ref had a good game but I'd be terrified to see what he would've been like with a full stadium.

Yes I agree there, but that aside it was a fair result.

We are so defensive against Liverpool, Willian is a great buy but I'm struggling to see the player who makes a killer pass and Maitland-Niles is good but young and not really going to scary anybody. Need more Saka. :/

I mean, actually I have no idea what you are talking about. Nothing happened. We're still top aren't we?

I think you've watched a different game to everyone else snaps.
I don't recall the first incident with Mané at all to be honest.
On the red card incident (forearm smash ), Mané did have his arm up but wasn't looking at all. It did then move up Tierney's body who was more than happy to go down. A yellow for me and no more - a red would have been ridiculously harsh and I assume VAR agreed and didn't ask him to have another look.
Lacazette should have done better with his chances (even the mis-hit that actually got his goal) but Ally did great for both and the first was way offside anyway.
I don't recall any handball decision either?
An equaliser would have been a huge injustice in this game for sure.
As for the ref, I can't recall much about having a bad game - although did you see his reaction to Lacazette's miss? Unbelievable - a ref stopping his run and looking to the sky..

September Goal of the Month votes

I love that they now spread it across Men's Women's and youth teams.

Yeah, me too! Also, Marcelo Flores' celebration... 😂

October's should go to Nobbs already, if you haven't seen it:

I thought exactly that about Flores, his own take on the Auba somersault.

Seen them all and sorry, as good as Nobbs was I gave it to Kim Little for the pinpoint cross and her technique to put it away like that.
