yeh, i remember him being a good kid when he played for us, and then went to Arsenal, I wasn't bitter, anyone would have done the same thing, and he always showed respect when he came here and scored a few :)

rumours Theo Walcatt coming back down here! Some bitter fans hate the idea, I'd be happy for him to come back."

Quite pleased with the acquisition of Godfrey, definitely need cover with our injuries currently - although Mina, who has been a weak link recently, played a blinder in the second half against Brighton.

Walcott is one who I'm pleased to see go as he hasn't really set the pitch alight in his performances.  Nice enough bloke by all accounts but we're kicking on and he's not part of that.  Wasn't overly enamoured by his purchase initially and hasn't done anywhere near enough to justify his place.

I wish him the best of luck at Southampton.

This sounds so familiar. ;)

We've got a defensive midfielder, finally we've replaced Patrick Viera! That didn't take very long did it?

Have we?
Every signing has to prove himself no matter the reputation though I have heard people who know about this stuff suggest that him alongside Gabriel should really upset teams who want to be, shall we say, a bit more physical.

Know this well, we have had many false dawns over the last few years.  One of our biggest, Sandro, has now finally left after 16 appearances in 2 years and 1 goal.  He also made 70 appearances for 3 different teams on loan and scored a grand total of 4 goals.

Gunnersaurus: Mesut Ozil offers to pay wage of Arsenal mascot
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54440357

made me laugh when i heard it on the radio, as a soundbite "Ozil to pay Gunnersaurus wages" without context is odd :)

He does have a strong history of charitable donations, as frustrating as his career at Arsenal has been at times, he's certainly a decent human being.

There's a few of them about, probably more than we know, Steven Naismith is another in this ilk...
