Arsenal: 2019/2020

Well I suppose we have to and the first pre-season game seems as good as anywhere to start.

Colorado Rapids 0 Arsenal 3

Playing Stan's other team in Stan's stadium (Dick's Sporting Goods. Somehow appropriate)
I watched about the first 30 mins as it fitted in with my weird schedule.
A team that I would have needed an ID sheet with Squad numbers to follow, A good number of 'Who's he' and a couple of 'Is he still with us?'
The sound was about 90 seconds in front of the picture so watching it on mute meant snoring ensued and I gave up.
Little more than a training run out with no opposition to speak of.
Ozil, Sokratis and Mustafi (spit) having great fun warming up on the sidelines and seeming to enjoy doing nothing.

Emery may have learnt something from it but I didn't.

With surprising speed Josh Kronke has replied to the letter from @AFC_WeCareDoYou

I'm sure the 95,000 and climbing that have now signed the petition have all read it and gone 'Oh that's alright then'

It amounts to 'Thank you for your interest in our affairs' but this time in an American accent.
Still relations have begun, it's a start.

If anyone is not following Tifo on YouTube they're missing out, whatever team they follow.

10mins here on well argued transfer options for us

We seem to have beaten Bayern Munich 2.1 and that's all I know about that so far.
4.00am kick off was a stretch even for me.

Obviously they rate him below their suggestions and given the present situation I'd prefer we walked away as well.

He is better than the boy Man U bought for 50 million!! And like Van Dijk and Wanyama will prove himself as a top class player, I would be amazed if a top team challenging for titles and CL didn't snap him up, again like the previous 2 players I mentioned he may well use Arsenal as a stepping stone if he chooses Arsenal of course which is no gimme

I know other Arsenal players say Kolasinac is the toughest on the team, but even so...

Quote:
Two Premier League footballers have been involved in a carjacking attempt by an armed gang in a London street.

Arsenal players Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac were targeted, the club confirmed, but both escaped uninjured.

Footage on social media appears to show Kolasinac chasing the robbers in Platts Lane, near Golders Green, at about 17:00 BST.

So we've got Saliba for somewhere round 30 million, who we're handing back for a season, borrowing Danny Onions and signing Pepe.
For a rumoured near 80 million. Not bad on what was supposedly a 40 million budget. I look forward to the explanations on how that's been afforded.

With no obvious defenders yet ( Yeh, Tierney ya da ya da) I'd get a few bob on some 5.4s, either way, next season.

Whichever way it goes next season is now looking of much more interest to me than it was but unless we sort something in defence, with Holding and Bellerin not back until September earliest, we could be playing catch up after just the first 4 fixtures.

Up until we signed Pepe I was feeling distinctly Meeh about the forthcoming season and gritting my teeth for a possible, or even probable, 6th place.

No one player can't necessarily make that much difference on his own but what it says about our ambition and ability to attract and negotiate deals, alongside investing for next season with Saliba loaned back means a helluva lot.

Signing or even borrowing a centre back and or full back would result in the best transfer window we've had for a while.

Obviously 4 matches in I could be seeking counselling.
