I took the night off to watch that dross.

Not important from a league point of view but a good performance needed against Watford to set the mood for the final. We hardly want to to go into it on the back of two defeats to two of the bottom teams.

I'll be working again tomorrow night but I'll be steering well clear of Anfield.
I guarantee there'll be sod all social distancing round the stadium.

I like to pop my head up around this time of year obviously.

Another anti-Totteridge day this week boys :)

Possibly a little early as we may yet ruin your season.

Raced to a three nil lead, despite Deans obvious reluctance to give a penalty, and then Arsenaled it down to a scrappy 3.2 win.
Let's hope Luiz has got that out of his system ready for the final for which I'm sure Chelsea are quaking in their boots having watched that.

European football and a good few million quid on the line and I'd argue Aubameyang staying or going. If we're not in Europe he'll be off, still maybe anyway if a good offer comes in.

Win or lose the one thing I don't want is any pundit/commentator to be able to say Chelsea wanted it more. After Baku that's a non negotiable.

I do hope so, although on the scale of a Luiz, that was a minor one. I didn't go into the Liverpool or City games with any confidence, so maybe this is the plan? :)

Keep going.
16 years in a row before that wasn't it.
Still seem to be potless as well.

#Fourteen

A really harsh second yellow, I don't think it would have changed the result though.

Martinez deserves to be our #1 keeper for the coming season, obviously desperately hope Aubameyang stays.

Arteta is clearly tactically smart, and has that ability to get his team playing their hearts out for him that a lot of the best managers have (look at Klopp, Guardiola, etc). Time will tell if he becomes one of the world greats, but I see really good signs.

My pulse still isn't back to normal.
About ten mins of injury time reciting the mantra 'Please don't f**k this up'

If we hadn't won Auba would definitely have been off, still might depending on what offers come in.

Can't see us not selling Martinez or Leno as they're both number one keepers now and we do need the funds to invest in the team.  I doubt they'll have Macey as a number two so probably looking for a keeper at the end of his career.

Providing Arteta is happy with the backing he gets from the club which is by no means certain. Not sure of the exact amount but Europa League does mean a good few million quid more so let's see what the transfer window brings.

Oh and just a further note for the neighbour.
Arsenal go straight into the second round of the Europa League. Tottenham have to play three one off qualifiers.
