I think we were all wondering how this was going to affect the football season, but I don't think any of us thought it would be in this way.

I don't think the way is surprising though I'm kind of surprised it's Arsenal that it's hit first.
Arteta will probably be okay and not suffer too badly but I'd be more worried for the non playing and ancillary staff who may be less healthy and older.
From a wider perspective Arteta at 37 is the youngest prem manager but what if someone like Hodgson caught it.
Either way our match v Brighton is off and I'd be surprised if this isn't the end of the season for every team,at least for the present.

At least if someone said, "Okay, do we declare Liverpool winners or do we abandon the league with no trophy" nobody would question their right to have finally won it.

I could find you a good few blues up here who still hold Liverpool responsible for their absence from Europe after the Heysel stadium ban.

twitter's strange isn't it, you see a celeb's name trending nowadays, and you assume the worst, Ian Wright is trending for the right reason, but as a result of a wrong reason, if that makes sense. I'll link to BBC news story, having seen the screen shots of the disgusting and offense language people are still using :( It's good he's making a stand against these trolls, even though it sadly won't change their opinions, at least it means they'll think twice about what they tweet if there are consequences.

I follow him on Twitter so I've been aware of it all day.
I hope they can nail the tw*t.

Police are interviewing someone already thankfully. Most racists are a two brain cells short of a single celled organism, but doing it from your social media where you've posted pictures of yourself...

Taking tomorrow night off
Will we win?
Most likely not.
Could we nick a draw?
Possibly, probably the best we can hope for.
A fresh start for everybody and just depends who's more ready though I can't imagine Guardiola hasn't been on their case the whole time off.

Its strange, like the start of a new season when you have no idea what form anyone is in.
