I've asked this elsewhere...

how long would a penalty shootout last between England Men's and Women's?

I'd rather our happy Arsenal cloggies won it.
Van den Donk and Miedema.
Plus although they've just left Van Veenendal and Dom Bloodworth.

You could argue we lost that by the width of a bootlace but USA were better and the bloody wind up of their game management at the end.
Used to love it when Henry kept it in the corner for five minutes but a total pain when it's the other way round.

No, I think we need to see how it work in the Premier League for a season before making a judgement call.

Aye, and even then I think it's also too early to judge anyway, it will take time for a lot of players to get out of some habits knowing they can no longer get away with them.

Also... someone, somewhere is training AI to give instant and accurate decisions.

What's needed is a change in refereeing.
The on field ref and the one in VAR need to have equal authority.
Therefore need to be trained and used in pairs so there's complete trust and confidence between the two.

The best team won the tournament, though the Netherlands made it hard for them with some amazing goalkeeping.

The Euros in 2 years are in England, will be interesting to see the attendance! Be nice to go to a few games before the women's game becomes so big the ticket prices go through the roof.

I'd agree the best team won but certainly not the most likeable. There's a lot about American triumphalism to dislike.

I did enjoy Fox going live to a bar full of Yanks in France somewhere and the whole bar chanting '***k Trump' while he attempted to ignore it.

The full fixtures for the WSL are out on Wednesday apparently and I'll be having a look to see when Arsenal are playing LFC and EFC as I might try and get along.

There's a suggestion to play some of the fixtures before a Premiership game so that'll be a nice way to try and fleece the punters as there's no way they'll be clearing the ground between matches.

That's just stupid and a complete waste of negative energy that could be used more positively elsewhere...
