Might regret this, but going to bite the bullet and start a thread to join the others.

Sorry, on a roll this evening - may look back in a year's time and regret the missed opportunites, but hey...not today...

Don't worry, I think Snaps and I regret pretty much every Arsenal season thread. ;)

Not the latest one.
Can't remember looking forward to a season more.
Even if it goes tits up it'll be new and maybe even exciting. I'm even thinking of signing up to Sky Sports again in August.

Don't regret starting the Toffees thread. I've got a couple in the family so I'll have a mock and a moan from time to time.

I don't mind the odd bit of mockery but would have been a bit much to bear over this last season as it was dire with very few highlights - 8th position in the PL is very misleading...

OK, so two months on and things look a bit better but still some work to do.

We lost all pre-season games bar one, but our goal difference is still positive after thrashing some Austrian village team 22-0.  The good thing about the pre-season games though was that Silva was clearly looking at it as a chance to assess the fringe players, and we've seen some of those go out the door over the last few weeks.

Bringing in Richarilson from Watford and Digne from Barcelona look like good moves, but we need at least one centre back and a defensive midfielder minimum.

Overall quite satisfied that Silva and Brands seem to know quite clearly what is required and not afraid of upsetting the apple cart to get it...

And now we appear to be on the verge of signing Bernard, a Brazilian midfielder with a Northern name...

How did that happen?

Similar effect to 'Last orders please' when you suddenly realise you need two pints and a short that you didn't need seconds before.
