How far have we travelled.
I'm now posting a link to two minutes of total sense from Gary Neville.

Including a nice sideways dig at the Walrus.

I'd mentally written off the first two matches anyway with any points gained being a bonus. I've seen enough in those fixtures to think we can grab significant points over supposedly lesser teams and even hand out a couple of thrashings along the way.
I'll be annoyed if we don't get 3 points vs a misfiring West Ham but even there I think we need to take the long view. Not that many seasons since we were extracting the urine from 'them' for barely having a point well into the season.

We weren't great in the Chelsea game, but at least we came back from 2-0 down, even if we then let another one in.

Wenger's team these last few years wouldn't even have come back that far. They'd have dominated the game and failed to score.

Still waiting to be excited about the season, still really need to fix the defence.

But I do like how Emery gave Smith Rowe 20 minutes, does this count as him breaking into the first team? :)

He's such an exciting young player with a lot of potential.

Once I put to one side the fact that conceding those two late goals was really ****ing annoying I actually enjoyed that match.
Can't really judge Leno on that as he didn't really stand a chance with either.
Lichtsteiner seemed to have trouble remembering that he had two feet and where precisely they were for the first goal and for the second the whole team were existing in a time frame where the whistle had already gone about a minute before it actually did.

On the up side I'm liking Sokratis more with each match, usually gets the ball and big and ugly enough not to notice there may have been a player attached.
Torriera and Guendouzi both shaping up really well
Iwobi played well.
Completely agree about Smith-Rowe and I'd expect to see either him again and/or Nketiah vs Brentford.

Four in a row now lets see if we can ruin my Bro-in-law and nephews weekend when chew the Toffees out.

Five in a row! If results are all that count, things are definitely better!

Seven if you include all comps.
It's a bit like watching a jigsaw come together. I think we've got the corners and a fair bit of the edges but some of the pieces are mixed up with another puzzle.
A couple or three transfer windows to sort that out.

Watch us lose to Carrierbag because it's so far away there wont be many first teamers involved. It wouldn't surprise me if Ramsey played as he seems to be off unless he negotiates a different contract (unlikely).

Have to agree with the away fans.
We've got our Arsenal back.

Not a bad goal amongst them but Ramsey's after 39 secs on the pitch was an absolute peach from start to superb finish.
Put me a bit in mind of Wilshire v Norwich but covering much more ground.

We seemed to be more organised defensively as well.

Only heard the second half on the radio, they were saying that was goal of the month already, also last time Arsenal won 9 games in a row was 2015.
