5-0 yes but what a cynical fouling bunch of twats Rennes are.

Once we were 2.0 up they realised that the ref wasn't really up to it so fell over and whinged at every opportunity. I thought Lacazette was subbed at just the right time as he was probably on a yellow and a half. Ozil subbed at the same time seemed to have lost interest.
Overall not a very pleasant watch.
File it away and see what the draw brings us.

I don't think the friendly is about money in this case. Emery and the team are still on a learning curve so any opportunity to try different players and other tactics is probably useful. I doubt if it will be televised but I'd expect to see the likes of Nketiah, Willock and maybe Pleguezuelo at the back given a run out.

Should have been 4 but for sh*t refereeing. Nothing wrong with the two disallowed goals.
Best thing about being third and in front of them again though was Liverpool's second goal.

We have a much easier run to the end of the season, so hopefully we can keep 3rd spot. Hopefully the nay-sayers are shutting up now, including perhaps the odd commentator who 5 months ago had written off Arsenal from finishing in the top 4. :)

Will miss Ramsey though.

Apart from 10 mins of the second half when Ramsey was on, and a short spell when Iwobi came on, we were just outplayed. At no point did it look like we were going to score.
