Page 1 of Mayweather vs McGregor who will win ?

I have to go with Mayweather, McGregor does have a punchers chance however Mayweather has made a living of not being hit for the past 21 years.
I think McGregor will come out swinging big shots but will tire by the 4th round and Mayweather will bring the fight to a halt with a stoppage in the 4th round.

It's interesting, shame it's not on earlier, or later then I'd be tempted to stay up/get up early to watch it.

Strange that pay per view here is £20 ish, but USA I think it's double that. Some  Vue cinemas are showing it, and I've seen some of the city centre pubs are showing it, some are charging entrance, some not. A couple advertising buy in advance £5, £10 on the door.

On the radio they were saying how the $1000 + ticket price means there's loads of empty seats, and then they were talking to some Irish McGregor fans, saying there was a lot of them over there, many got "cheap" flights, and are hoping to win enough money to buy tickets :) Good luck to them, but I think most will be watching on tv screens ;)

Originally I though McGregor, but now I'm thinking Mayweather, although mcGregor does have the advantage that's he can analyse Mayweather's style.

The difference in training is interesting, Mcgregor being UFC is all high tech, Mayweather classic, sort of like Rocky IV, but the other way round ;)

If i was a betting man (I am and i will) i would put a bet on McGregor being disqualified, i can see Mayweather goading him in the ring and talking, and or taking the p*** and McGregor losing the rag and kicking him and Mayweather not continuing either honestly or not.....

Can't see any result other than a Mayweather win - other than huge luck. mbilko could be right and wouldn't be surprised to see a kick in some red mist stupidity moment from McGregor.
As dk says, he's made a living out of not being hit by top boxers so when and how, in the same sport, can he be taken out by someone who isn't one?
Apparently bookies say if it wasn't for the lots of smaller bets going in McGregor from the Irish especially, and was just a fight, Mayweather would be 1/100 to win - and I can't see anything else happening.
May set the alarm or probanly just watch it when I get up..

12/1 on McGregor getting DQ'd, and if i was a millionaire i would be battering 9 million to win 2 million on Mayweather, if its a kosher fight there is no chance in hell he loses.

so, they both had a game plan they stuck to, but at the end of the day the better fighter won.
 McGregor did well, should he have gambled more at the beginning for the early KO, dunno, if he had I don't think he would have got as far as he did. The early shots he got didn't seem to bother Mayweather.

Saying that, at the end, Mayweather looked like he could fight another 10 rounds ;)

Nice that they embraced at the end and the pantomime didn't continue.
