The Premier League has been awarded a High Court order for the forthcoming 2017-18 season, which will help it combat the illegal streaming of games.

The blocking order will require UK Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to prevent people from illegally accessing streams of its matches.

It will allow the league to combat the illicit sale and use of devices such as pre-loaded IPTV and Kodi boxes.

This will of course result in all of us flocking to Sky and BT begging to be able to subscribe.

You may have noticed Sky trumpeting that you can just subscribe to the sports channels you want, individual sports.
The whole sports package as an add on is £20 per month or a whole £2 per month saving for just having an individual channel. You should note that the Premiership is a seperate channel from the EFL, League cup etc.
So that's £240.per year to watch football

Sky don't have all the matches so if you want BT sport on your sky package that's another £21.99 per month, £263.88 per year.

£503.88 for a years football.
Yes you get Golf, F1 etc so if your a multi sport junkie maybe it's worth it.
For me, until I can subscribe to an Arsenal channel covering every match regardless of which comp they can whistle for it.

While I'm on my soapbox.
Arsenal Player. The clubs channel on their website.
I've seen amateur YouTubers do a better job.

I usually subscribe to Tunnel Bear when we go on our hols but it's looking like a full subscription may be worth while.
$10.00 a month or just short of $60 for the year.

The £20.00 per month for all sky sports channel is an offer for 18 months.
Cost after that is 27.50 for all of it.

I'm not finding it easy to ascertain which matches are on Sky or BT so I can't really do a breakdown but it seems that it works out something around £9 per match and a bit more for the ones on BT as they seem to have slightly less.

I think you were right about it being good if you are sport mad, but if you just wanted to watch say Arsenal live, you are looking at about £20 a match. :(

All the champions league games are on BT, but I think Sky have most full matches you can watch after 11pm at night.
