Otherwise occupied earlier this evening so switched on the radio when this was about 90 mins old with a Wenger like 'Eh? Who?'

I think we'd all got used to the idea that it was going to be Arteta and were quite looking forward to an interesting season.
He's our manager now so he gets my support but it does feel a bit like missing out on the sports car and settling for the Mondeo.

Did you see Arteta as a sports car? Great player, but unproven manager?

Emery is a good manager and far less of a gamble than Arteta.  Although he has had silly money to spend...
Wouldn't be surprised to see Wenger at PSG.

Exciting, looks great in the brochure, huge potential, unknown reliability.

vs

Reliable mid range, general purpose, decent service history, may do a job but could have it's best years behind it.


It all says as much about Ivan's inability to even manage the change of manager well as anything else.
