We've sacked our manager Puel (bit harsh  IMHO), we were rumoured to have the old Borussia Dortmund manager, Thomas Tuchel, but other rumours say he doesn't want the job as he wants a team already in Champions League! I would have thought he's a bit too big for a club like Saints.

Shame though as I was hoping to get a new man in charge sooner rather than later to buy in players that he  wants and get used to the staff.

WTF is going on?  We're still in the first half of June and already signed the most expensive British keeper ever, who is also now the 3rd most expensive keeper in the world.

And we've agreed terms with the Ajax captain.

This is Everton ffs...

I wish I had got more into footy than computers when I was at school, is it too late for a career change to become an agent?

So looks like Koeman continues to prove his point about wanting to be able to spend money!

Terry confirmed off to Aston Villa, I suppose depending on how they do will mean if this is his last season playing or not.

Saints bought a Polish defender who is supposed to be good, so he'll no doubt be off to one of the big boys in a year or two if he is that good, we sold Jay Rod to West Brom, which is a shame, when he got to play I liked him, but 12m isn't bad, and I think he would have spent a lot of time on the bench anyway. A few of our youngsters who have been doing well have signed long contracts, which means we'll get a nice lot of money when they leave us as well ;)

It's quite a surreal period for Everton fans, we're used to being outbid on minor players by the likes of Preston NE by about £0.5 million and then picking up randomly crap players on deadline day.

This year we've signed 4 players in about 4 weeks, all bar the last at £20m+, and there are signs we're not stopping here.

Don't think we'll be interested in deadline day for the first time in over a decade...

Lacazette confirmed as an Arsenal player, 5 year contract.
Surprise to nobody.
Still think where Sanchez ends up will make or break the fans attitude to the summer dealings.

Please not a Premier club. :(

Looks like a good signing, but hard to know for sure. I mean if you look at Giroud's highlights reel for this last season you'd think he was the best striker ever.

Looks like we're after Giroud, what's he really like?

An out-and-out forward, prone to moments of brilliance, can make some really difficult things look easy...

...and some easy things look hard. Also very inconcistent. Can come on as an impact substitute and help win a game, then can start and do nothing that helps us win a game. :(

Might suit a club that throws lots of balls into the box, but not one with flair players who like to pass the ball around a lot.
