Price comparison - bargains ahoy!

I just found Fight Club Region 1 for £6.49 through deleted by moderator - it looks like it`ll be pretty easy to find some cheap stuff by using this site -- check it out!

just as a test, I tried that site with the first film title i could think of- The French film Rififi. They came back with only 2 sites, at prices of £12.99 & £6.99

Tried www.dvdpricebuster.co.uk
for the same search & got 11 sites returned, one of them a quid cheaper £5.99

Then tried the same search on a third site http://www.find-dvd.co.uk
this time got 25 returns ranging from £5.99 to £19.63

My first choice for a price comparison is http://www.find-dvd.co.uk but i always run a couple of others as well.

I`d also recommend www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk as you can search all the regions but it is sometimes out of date with older titles- they list 27 returns for the above film but the prices are higher then those shown for a couple of the sites

The point I`m trying to make is to run a price comparison with at least 2 sites before placing an order. Only takes a minute & could save you quite a bit.

Nearly forgot- www.dvdbargain.net is pretty good as well

I find Kelkoo pretty good for a quick overview of the major retailers. They don`t seem to need to pretend to be a `casual forum` member either to get their search site publicity... >:(

Yeah, you are probably right about the OP trying it on.
Only just noticed this was his first post.
But as the other sites I posted beat his site by finding a cheaper price, by posting as a member, he`s done his site more harm then good

Pricechoice is crap.

I have been looking for Living with Lions ( 1997 Lions tour in South Africa ) and pricechoice gives me one result - Quote:
Living With Lions - The Complete Story
£27.99

While the find Dvd site that Pat mentioned above gave me 23 results starting from £10.87.

Website was owned by person making the first post, surprise surprise.

I`ll shift this to RR forum as there are some useful links here :)

Not sure it`s the same title you want, as this is called "Life with the Lions Down Under" but you never know

No , got that one Pat but thanks anyway. ;)
The "Life with the Lions Down Under" in the other thread is the reason I am looking for the " Living with Lions " as I bought it off flea bay for £1.99 :D then spent 3 + hours watching it on saturday and enjoyed it so much I thought the South Africa one would be worth a look too.
