I'm setting up a new Galaxy S24 Ultra which seems to be a life's work.
Trying to put a Monzo card on Google wallet and it lists
Request from
Location. which is correct
Hardware. which is correct
Phone number. (last four digits) which is nothing to do with me
Card number which is correct
I can find no way of challenging this through either Google's insufferable AI chat bot or Monzo who don't seem to employ anything that draws breath.
Do I just add the card regardless or is that likely to compromise my security.

Think I've found the reason after a software update.
If you transfer your number to a new phone it looks like the sim reports as the number it originally had I'm guessing.
Suffice to say at least it looks like they won't be sending my banking details to some Russian bot or Nigerian prince.
