Remember how we used to all have Nokias? Crammed full of features, hardly any of which were remotely useable (world's worst MP3 players) and thought Snake was the height of mobile phone gaming?

Tony Fadell was pondering just how he was going to explain to Steve Jobs that he'd lost the prototype of what would become the most successful technology product of all time, the Apple iPhone which launched 10 years ago on Monday.
He'd just got off a plane, felt his pockets, and... nothing.
Looks like they had a precedent for losing iPhone prototypes from day one. ;)

Only if they look vulnerable.

Yeh, but you know, experts. Truth.
Who needs it.

Harford's perverse logic one could therefore argue that were it not for the private sector, he would have to write his slightly silly economics articles in the dark, with a stick....and I've no doubt a shiny new Mac boook may well be on it's way to Mr Frappier courtesy of Apple.

I always use speaker phone to keep the radiation out ah my brain
I am not the only one, as seen on TV, Louie Walsh of x factor fame carries a brick of a phone and holds it at arms length when talking into it, must be some amplification
RE: iPhone is 10 years old today
I think the 'addled brain' ship has already sailed for Louie Walsh. May as well keep that phone glued to his nut.
Don't really know why people are so tribal about which products they use.
I was as blown away as most people were when iPhones first came out, although I've yet to own one. My big problem is that I tend to break phones - I've broken every single phone I've ever owned (I think), so there's no point getting anything too expensive.
Budget androids are so good now, you can have a phone that will match a flagship phone in most areas that'll only cost around a ton.

Well that rules out one explanation.
