I know this is of no use to you as you can't even boot to it, but there is a decent Windows utility called Tree Size Free which is good for seeing what is consuming all your space.

OK, we're up and running. Disconnected one of the GFX cards and fired it up no problem. Now just need to see if I can cope without it or have to replace it...

I would swap them now and see if things still work, then if that still works you could be having PSU issues.

Bought a 250gb SSD to replace the 60GB one before I do anything else as rapidly bouncing between 300mb and 0 mb free on my c:/

Seems to have been just a lack of disk space, reconnected the second GFX card and everything fine...
