HDD Caddy

Snaps (Elite) posted this on Wednesday, 7th September 2016, 19:01

Anyone suggest the easiest HDD caddy for swapping drives in and out.
I vaguely recall that there was one that was almost a slide in and out deal.

I never throw HDDs away and need to go on a hoovering expedition for stuff I may have missed.

I've got one I got on ebay, where it's not really a caddy, more like a usb card reader, but imagine you use a hard drive like a memory card ,i.e. it sticks out, and isn't enclosed, takes the modern and old type HDs

lol, realised finding it on ebay would be easier :)

that works for me as do the cheap enclosures I've got on ebay and from novatech, but I generally end up using them permanently attached rather than moving them about, the cheaper ones can be quite flimsy, liek most things, you get what you pay for with them
