Watched the Wolf Alice set only to see the beeb cut away for their last track, Don't Delete the Kisses - that I absolutely love! Hopefully it'll be on later.

No interest in many acts really but it's often the same and I've got into a few bands by watching the great Beeb coverage.  Huge improvement over the last effort where they cut back hugely - I think they said it was funding last time?  UHD often too... 😁

Ah, right.  CD will be going back then.  Had already bought the streaming version on Amazon Music which originally listed 7 tracks, so thought it may be a CD only format.  Turns out the streaming version has all 10 tracks, so the CD is superfluous...

I honestly hear so many bands these days and think... derivative, pleasant enough but heard it all before. But from the word go they were not that and it's been so enjoyable to watch them become so big.

I was listening to this "at work" earlier, the interview with them was quite funny, they genuinely still seem a bit shocked to be suddenly so big (Harry Styles covered Wet Dream on his Live Lounge recently)


Mercury Prize has been postponed from tonight, I don't think they'd have won, probably Self Esteem, but I'd liek it to be Little Simz

No I don't think so either, local papers are going good luck! But the BBC article about the Mercury Prize didn't even mention them as possible winners.
