RE: Does anyone have a fixed projector screen?
Hi Rob - yes it is a once in a lifetime purchase and will have to do for the next 20 years but I have heard they are good.
I use a normal whiteboard at school all the time and the glare or shine is pretty bad but I don't have a light controlled room - if I were you I would try it out as you have nothing to lose.

It's not a normal whiteboard exactly - it's one of those interactive boards made to take a projected image. I'll have to scrutinise it more closely once I get round to digging it out of my workshop (buried under years of junk)

If it's in any way shiney like a normal whiteboard, it'll be poo. :/ You really need a completely mat finish.

I forget who originally posted this here, but I bookmarked it just in case.
My outlook on life is positive & carefree, I'm positive that I'm a pessimist & I don't care what what you think.
Never has so little had to be explained by me to so many so often.
RE: Does anyone have a fixed projector screen?
Just in case anyone was wondering - I went with a fixed screen and have no regrets - I initially wanted a 120" screen but went with a 100" screen on the advice of a local home theatre installer and I have to say I am glad I didn't go any bigger.
The screen is held taught by heavy duty velcro - I have it up over a year now and it is still as taught as the day I put it up. Everyone is always amazed at the pic and sound quality - I have an Epson 6100 projector and Dali 5 surround sound.
I would definitely recommend fixed screen to anyone who has the space for it.
